Caring at Breakfast is a new early morning support for homeless people with low support needs who are temporarily staying in emergency night shelters in Bristol.
It aims to help people who may be new to homelessness or still working remain integrated in mainstream environments through partnering with local businesses and cafes.
Working in partnership with Milk Teeth Cafe and Jamaica Street Stores, Caring at Breakfast offers the 15 overnight guests in our 365 Shelter the opportunity to have a free hot drink and space to be on dedicated mornings between 7.30am and 9.30am.
We are developing and training volunteers to support Caring at Breakfast with some befriending support, offered as an early morning volunteering opportunity that people can do before work. Get in touch if you’re interested in finding out more about this volunteering opportunity.
