Youth Shelter

Immediate impact and long-term change for young people

We are opening Bristol’s only dedicated youth shelter

Youth homelessness has risen sharply amidst Covid-19, with the charity Centrepoint – who support young people aged 16- 24 who are facing homelessness – seeing a 36% increase in people seeking help since the beginning of the pandemic.

To combat this crisis, we are opening Bristol’s only dedicated youth shelter, which will provide a safe place for young people to spend the night supported by trained staff and volunteers as well as wraparound support to help move guests towards independence, with the stability they deserve to study, work, and flourish.

We are currently seeking a suitable property four-or-five bedroom rental property to create this shelter. Caring in Bristol will be its legal tenant, covering all rent and maintenance with trained staff and volunteers on-site at all times.

Together, we can help young people make a transformational change in their lives.
