Your Help – Caring at Christmas 2023

As Christmas approaches, we’ll be using this page to let you know how you can support our work in our Caring at Christmas project.

Our Christmas team, and our volunteers, are working behind the scenes in preparation. You can help too, and since this year has been even tougher for people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity, it will have an even greater impact.

November 24th 2023: Volunteering at Caring at Christmas & Donations

Huge thanks to everyone who has signed up for volunteering shifts this Christmas. If you’re interested in supporting the project, see our information for volunteers to find out more and sign up / check shifts using our volunteer portal. There is still good availability for shifts on December 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th. Check your diaries – this is an amazing experience, and one that makes a difference to people experiencing homelessness at such a challenging time of year.

Don’t forget our donation drop off days for your donations. See the lists below for the things we need, and if you can share the list with family, friends, or colleagues, it will be a great support to ensure we’re able to meet our guests’ needs.

November 2nd 2023: Donations Appeal

We’ve set up a series of collection dates where you can drop off your food, clothing and/or toiletries donations. Please only donate these items – this helps us to manage our storage facilities, and avoid waste.
